The Hebrew University Student Union confirmed today in a resolution its opposition to cooperation with German students. The issue arose at a meeting of the Israeli Students Association.

After a stormy session of the latter group, the delegates by a vote of 31 to 28 adopted a resolution accepting the principle of contact with German students under certain conditions. The Hebrew University delegation walked out of the meeting in protest, an action which was approved by the Hebrew University Student Union at its meeting today.

(In Bonn, it was reported today that there are now 11 Israel-German student associations at various universities in West Germany. The groups aim at fostering personal relations between Germans and Israelis.)
