Forest Honoring Chile’s Nobel Prize Winner Poet Planted in Israel

A forest honoring Chile’s national poet, the late Gabriel Mistral, was planted here today in the Hills of Adullam, in the presence of members of the Cabinet, senior Government officials and Chilean diplomats, Chilean Ambassador Eugenio Palacious expressed deep gratification at Israel’s tribute to the work of Mistral. She was the first Latin American poet to earn the Nobel Prize for literature.
