Jewish Candidate of British Labor Party Wins Seat in Parliament

The British Parliament has another Jewish member, Laborite John Silkin, son of Lord Silkin, who was the successful candidate in a by-election where the seat was vacated by the death of Laborite Leslie Plummer. He died on a visit to the United States.
