Moroccan Information Minister M. Boutaler was scored here today by the Istiqlal opposition party newspapers Al Alam which charged that he had allocated funds for the showing in Moroccan movie theaters of “David and Goliath. ” This film, the paper said, was a “Zionist film” and was included in the Arab League black list. The paper asked for an investigation and demanded that the film be banned.

Commenting on the paper’s charges, M. Boutaler said that the film has been shown in Tunisia and Algeria. While “David and Goliath” are being shown in Moroccan theaters, the films, “Times of the Ghetto” by Frederic Rossif and “Hitler” have been banned by the film censor.
