Federal legislation to prohibit extremist groups like the American Nazi party from maintaining arsenals or firearms and training adherents as snipers was asked today by National Commander Daniel Neal Heller of the Jewish War Veterans in a letter to President Lyndon B. Johnson.

Noting the assassination of President Kennedy by an extremist, Mr. Heller pointed out that the Nazi group maintains “storms of weapons and actually conducts firing range training in nearby Arlington, Va.”
