Mrs. Major and seven other members of a visiting delegation, representing the Council, were received here by Mrs. Rachel Shazar, wife of Israel’s president.

During their visit here, the editors, who were guests of the Israel Journalists Association, also met with Foreign Minister Golda Meir and Agriculture Minister Moshe Dayan. The visiting editors represent the leading newspapers and broad casting networks in Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, Northern Rhodesia, Sierra Leone and Tanganyika.
