Norman S. Rabb, a prominent Boston Jewish communal leader, has been appointed national chairman of the interreligious affairs committee of the American Jewish Committee.
The committee is the policy-making body which guides the AJC’s department of interreligious affairs in the promotion of interfaith understanding and in combating religious prejudice. Mr. Rabb is chairman of the board of trustees of Brandeis University, a top leader of the Greater Boston Combined Jewish Philanthropies and a member of the national council of the Joint Distribution Committee.
