Gross Burning at Dachau Attributed by U.S. Army to ‘jokesters’

A spokesman for the United States Seventh Army Corps said here today that the recent burning of a wooden cross near the site of the infamous Dachau concentration camp, was “just a bad joke” by some soldiers. It had been believed that the incident was perpetrated by members of the Ku Klux Klan.
