The Virginia State Fair today closed down a booth operated by American Nazi Party leader George Lincoln Rockwell, and kicked the Nazis out of the Fair.
Rockwell is running for Governor of Virginia as nominee of what he calls the “White Constitutional Party,” and had set up the booth for “political purposes.” Last Friday, general manager J.A. Mitchell, of the State Fair, ordered removal of display signs from the Rockwell booth on grounds that they were inflammatory, racist, and obscene.
