Morris Glasser Elected President of Chicago Jewish Welfare Fund

At a special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Welfare Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, Morris Glasser, noted Jewish communal leader, was elected president of the Welfare Fund.

The Jewish Welfare Fund, a partner with the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago in the Combined Jewish Appeal, has the responsibility for budgeting and distributing CJA funds to the United Jewish Appeal and other overseas rescue agencies, to national community-serving, cultural and Jewish service organizations, and to Jewish educational programs here in Chicago.
