A Soviet Russian writer who uses the pseudonym of “Ivanov” has written a book exposing anti-Semitism in Russia, and the volume will be issued here soon, it was announced today by Jerzy Giedroyc, the publisher who had issued works by other anti-Soviet Russians. He said the new work “is violently anti-Stalinist. It is a play about life on Mars, dealing with Russian anti-Semitism.”
Mr. Giedroyc is the man who published the works of Yuli Daniel and Andrei Sinyavsky, the Soviet authors whose anti-Soviet works got them into trouble with the Communist authorities. Last week, they were sentenced to prison terms after a trial in Moscow.
