Jerusalem Mayor Honored in Philadelphia; Gets Reception in City Hall

Mayor Theodore Kollek of Jerusalem arrived here from Los Angeles for a brief official visit to this city. Shortly after his arrival he laid a wreath at the monument to the Jewish victims of the Nazi holocaust which is located in a public square opposite City Hall.

Later, he was given a reception at City Hall by Philadelphia Mayor James H.J. Tate attended by Israel Consul General Yissakhar Ben-Yaacov and other members of the consular corps. Mr. Kollek was also given a reception at the Consulate General attended by leaders of the Jewish community.
