Rabbi Mordecai Kirshblum, member of the executive of the Jewish Agency for Israel, will open the 1967 campaign of the Argentine Keren Hayesod, the fund-raising arm of the World Zionist Organization, in Buenos Aires next Sunday, it was announced here today. The noted Mizrachi leader will leave here tomorrow and make a stopover in Montevideo to address the Keren Hayesod directorate of Uruguay.
During his three-week stay in Argentina, Rabbi Kirshblum will visit all major communities in connection with the fund-raising campaign. He will also survey the situation of the Jewish community in Argentina. On his return he will report his findings to the executive of the American Section of the Jewish Agency.
