West Germany’s extreme right-wing political grouping, the National Democratic Party (NPD), won eight seats in two more state parliaments, as a result of yesterday’s local elections in those areas. Complete but unofficial returns tabulated today showed the NPD had polled 5.8 percent of the votes in Schleswig-Holstein, and 6.9 percent of the ballots in Rhineland-Pfalz, giving the grouping, often called a neo-Nazi party, four seats in each of the state parliaments in those two provinces.
