Members of a local B’nai B’rith lodge have volunteered to take over duties at the Dollard Des Ormeaux municipality police station on Christmas Day so that the regular police officers can spend more time with their families. The members, from the West Island Lodge, are taking a six-day training course in preparation for their police duties.
