Rep. Richard Schweiker, Pennsylvania Republican, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, urged Secretary of State Dean Rusk today to defer shipments of U.S. arms to Jordan in view of the worsening border situation. He asked for a list of the arms being shipped to Jordan and inquired specifically about weapons such as anti-vehicle mines and other arms used by terrorists.
