Congressman Calls for Halt on U.S. Arms Shipments to Jordan

SIGN UP FOR THE JTA DAILY BRIEFING

Rep. Richard Schweiker, Pennsylvania Republican, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, urged Secretary of State Dean Rusk today to defer shipments of U.S. arms to Jordan in view of the worsening border situation.
