Israel is one of 67 nations that have accepted invitations to participate In a United Nations conference on the exploration and peaceful uses of outer space which will be held in Vienna from Aug. 14 to 27. The objectives of the conference are the examination of practical benefits to be derived from space research and exploration and of the opportunities available to non-space powers for international cooperation in space activities.
