The American Legion has urged the United States Government to sell supersonic military jets to Israel in order “to provide an adequate deterrent force which might prevent future Arab aggression.” The Legion’s call was contained in a resolution adopted at the veteran organization’s national convention in New Orleans last week. It was reported out by the Legion’s platform committee today.
