The Consul General of Israel in Philadelphia, Yissakhar Ben-Yaacov, today was elected unanimously dean of the consular corps in this city. There are some 40 consulates located here. He will serve one year. He has been in Philadelphia since 1964. The dean-ship is ceremonial.
