Mrs. Martin Luther King, Jr., widow of the Negro civil rights leader has joined an honorary committee welcoming the Russian-Jewish folk singer, Nehama Lifschitz who will give a concert here Nov. 18. Miss Lifschitz, who has become an Israeli citizen, is on a concert tour of the United States in cooperation with the American-Israel Cultural Foundation. The committee is chaired by Atlanta’s outgoing Mayor Ivan Allan and includes Mayor-elect Sam Massell, a Jew and the newly elected Negro vice mayor, Maynard Jackson.
