Committee Set Up to Memorialize Maj. Adam Weiler, Killed in Action Along Suez Front

A committee has been set up here to memorialize Maj. Adam Weiler, son of Rabbi and Mrs. Moses Cyrus Weiler, who was killed in action along the Suez Canal. Rabbi Weiler, is the founder and former Chief Minister of the Progressive Jewish community in South Africa. Funds for a recreational and playground area named after Adam Weiler are being sought by the committee, comprised of Rabbis Jack J. Cohen, Richard Hirsch and Louis Isaac Rabinowitz and David Breslau and Harry Sabel.
