A Chilean scientific delegation arrived here to discuss a two-year scientific cooperation program in the areas of water research, intensive agriculture and technological research. The delegation, headed by Dr. Bauminger, Rector of the University of Chile, will hold talks with Dr. Elizer Tal, director of the National Council for Research and Development.
Their visit is part of a continuing program to strengthen scientific relations between Chile and Israel. A scientific cooperation agreement was signed in April, 1971, between the University of Santiago and the National Council for Research and Development here.
