David Vardi, a veteran stage artist of the Habimah National Theater, died early this morning at the age of 83. He was noted for his theatrical work for the Hebrew stage in the United States, in Palestine and in Israel. Forty years ago he established a school for stage art. He retired 10 years ago. Funeral services will be held tomorrow.
