The Organization of Latin Americans in Israel adopted a resolution stating that the only reply to Egyptian Foreign Minister Ismail Fahmy’s demand that aliya be frozen for 50 years is massive aliya. The organization, representing some. 50.000 Latin American Jews living in Israel, called for “a massive. immediate and unconditional aliya to Israel to strengthen Israel spiritually, politically, economically and in the field of security.”
