Gas masks sufficient to protect the entire population of Israel, from infants to soldiers in the field, have been produced locally by a firm associated with Koor Industries, it was announced Monday. The gas masks were prepared to foreign designs with Israeli innovations on orders of the Defense Ministry. Civil defense authorities said the masks are ready for distribution to the entire population if and when the need arises.
