Women using swimming pools in Israel have always been required to wear bathing caps. Now, however, long-haired males will have to do the same. “It is not a question of men’s or women’s lib so much as serious hair pollution in many of the pools,” an Interior Ministry spokesman said today in announcing the new regulation.
