Foreign Minister Yigal Allon will confer with Portugal’s Foreign Minister at the United Nations this month to pursue the question of normalizing relations between the two countries. Both officials will be in New York for the opening of the General Assembly. Until the question of establishing diplomatic ties becomes clearer, the two countries will carry out a series of commercial and cultural projects, it was reported.
