Dr. Amnon Goldenberg, Justice Minister-designate, has been elected chairman of the board of directors of the Weizmann Institute Memorial Foundation (Yod Chaim Weizmann), succeeding the late Meyer Weisgal who died last month. Goldenberg was elected to the office several days before Weisgal’s death but the announcement was withheld until completion of the shiva period. President Ephraim Katzir is honorary president of the Foundation.
