The Cabinet decided Monday not to take any action against Chief of Staff Gen. Raphael Eitan for reducing the sentence of Lt. Daniel Pinto, the paratroop officer charged with murdering four Lebanese civilians. Cabinet Secretary Arye Naor said the Cabinet considered the case closed since it backed Defense Minister Ezer Weizman’s support for Eitan.

There will be no Bulletins dated Oct. I and Oct. 2 due to Yom Kippur.
