Funeral services were held yesterday in New Rochelle for Dr. Jack Schiff, provost of Pace University. He died Monday at the age of 66 following a brief illness.
Schiff, a native New Yorker who resided in New Rochelle since 1956, served the university as teacher and administrator for more than 30 years and was instrumental in its growth and development. He was highly regarded in the field of marketing and had done pioneering work in the application of computer simulation and programmed instruction in the training of managers and market personnel. He was the author of numerous articles on the subject.
Schiff was a long-standing member of Beth El Synagogue in New Rochelle and was active in Pace University’s Jewish Students Association.
