Interior Minister Yosef Burg rejected a proposal by King Hussein of Jordan to convene an international conference on the Middle East. Speaking on Israel Radio Sunday, Burg, who chaired Israel’s team in the now moribund Palestinian autonomy negotiations, charged that Hussein was actually striving to include Palestinian extremists and the Soviet Union in the peace talks. The United States and Britain have also rejected the proposal for an international conference.
