A scientific breakthrough that can save the lives of millions of people who are affected each year with malaria has been developed by the Lautenberg Center for General and Tumor Immunology, Hebrew University, Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem. A by-product of the Center’s ongoing cancer research, the discovery provides a rapid, simple, sensitive immunological diagnostic test that identifies carriers of the disease. It was developed by Prof. Dov Sulitzeanu and his team.
