The leader of a right-wing group was placed under house arrest after organizing anti-government demonstrations this week that turned violent.

The Petach Tikva Magistrates Court put Moshe Feiglin, the head of Zo Artzeinu, under house arrest for five days for organizing an illegal gathering, incitement and endangering human life on public roads.

Feiglin and other demonstrators were arrested in Jerusalem on Wednesday night, during a violent protest against the Israel-Palestinian peace accords. Police used force to disperse the protesters.
