A former top official of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services was named to fill the top slot at a U.S. Jewish umbrella group. Hannah Rosenthal, a longtime Jewish activist and educator who has worked on women’s and children’s health issues, will be the executive vice chairwoman of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs beginning in October.
