A new poll indicates that Americans resoundingly side with Israel in its ongoing struggle with the Palestinians, contradicting the perception of many Jewish leaders that the Palestinians are winning the public relations war. Among the results of its 1,400 interviews, the poll found that one-third of American Jews believe Jerusalem should be divided as part of a peace deal with the Palestinians, a view shared by one-half of non-Jews.
