At least 14 people were killed and more than 100 wounded in a suicide bombing in downtown Jerusalem. Five or six of the dead were infants, according to Magen David Adom officials. Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for what was the second deadliest terror attack during the past 10 months of violence, surpassed only by a June 1 blast outside a Tel Aviv disco that killed 21 Israelis and wounded more than 100 others.
