A Ukrainian Jewish director is filming a movie based on the Nazi occupation of Kiev. Director Alexander Shapiro’s “The Death Match” will tell the story of Ukrainian soccer players who were forced to play in a tournament against teams of German army servicemen during the occupation of Ukraine in World War II.
