Tens of thousands of Israelis gathered at the Western Wall in Jerusalem to pray that the Israeli government calls off its Gaza withdrawal plan. “Just like Sodom, the government has decided on an action that is inconsistent with morality,” the liberal daily Ha’aretz quoted one speaker as saying at Wednesday’s rally.
