News Brief

Kurt Schubert, who founded Austria’s first Jewish museum after World War II, died Sunday at age 83. The Austrian Jewish Museum was founded in 1972. Schubert, a Vienna native, also founded the Jewish Studies Institute at the University of Vienna in 1966.
