A Russian military official said Israel supplied arms to Georgia and trained its military intelligence units.
Gen. Anatoly Nogovitsyn, the deputy chief of staff, said in answer to a question during a news conference Tuesday that Israel had provided weapons systems including eight types of unmanned aircraft, 100 anti-tank mines, explosives and landmines.
Nogovitsyn also said that Israeli troops in 2007 trained Georgian commando troops.
He said Russia began pulling its troops out of Georgia on Monday.
