Jewish Women International — not so “parve”

Jewish Women International has posted a comment to my earlier post on CNN’s Dana Bash’s new position with the group as a trustee.

They make a good point — "parve" might not be the best term to describe their important work combating violence against women. (I like their use of "meat and potatoes".)

My point was that no American journalist is going to get into trouble for advocating against violence against women, but he or she might face queries for joining a group that advocates for abortion access (as JWI does.)
