23 Held in $1,000 Bond; Protested Reich Ship’s Presence Near Boston

Twenty-three anti-Nazi rioters, including five women, arrested yesterday near Charlestown Navy Yard for demonstrating against the presence of the German cruiser Karlsruhe in American waters, were held in bond of $1,000 each. Trial will follow their arraignment later today.

The rioters were arrested during a parade and meeting at which representatives of Communist and other groups spoke.
