A boycott of France is not the way to deal with rising anti-Semitic attacks there, the American Jewish Committee said. Instead, the organization is “encouraging those with plans to travel to France to include visits to synagogues and other contacts with French Jews to demonstrate our support for them and their community, the largest Jewish population in Europe, and to use every other opportunity to show concern in a constructive manner.”
