A delegation of senior European rabbis thanked Italy’s prime minister for his support for Israel. The rabbis also thanked Silvio Berlusconi for opposing anti-Semitism and Islamic fundamentalism and asked for his support in sponsoring legislation to protect Jewish cemeteries across the continent.
