A French politician elected with votes from an extreme-right party was excluded from the executive board of a French Holocaust museum. Charles Millon, who automatically became a board member when he was elected president of the Lyon region last March, was ejected by a vote of 149-1 for agreeing to govern with the xenophobic National Front. The Children of Izieux Memorial Museum is located at the site of a home where 48 Jewish children were hidden during the Nazi occupation before being turned in by a neighbor, arrested by the Gestapo and sent to Auschwitz.
