A German court plans to try later this month a former Nazi SS officer who served as a guard at a Czech transit camp. Anton Malloth, 88, is accused of killing at least three prisoners at the Theresienstadt camp. German prosecutors closed their case against Malloth in 1999, but reopened the investigation after a new witness came forward in the Czech Republic later that year.
