A group of Russian-speaking Jews in the United States is criticizing a planned memorial at Babi Yar in Ukraine. The center proposed at the site, where more than 30,000 Jews were killed in September 1941, “will do damage to Jewish interests” and “diminish the memory of the Jewish community,” said the group, known as the Save Babi Yar committee.
