A Jewish group that supports immigrants in the United States is praising an increase in the number of refugees who entered the United States. But the group said the target for refugees should be raised. Some 52,875 refugees entered between Oct. 1, 2003, and Sept. 30, 2004, in contrast to only 28,000 the year before.
