A man accused of smuggling hundreds of thousands of ecstasy pills into the United States wants to be tried in Israel. Ze’ev Rosenstein is fighting the United States’ extradition request, claiming the offenses took place in Israel. But prosecutors say that because Rosenstein used technology in the commission of the crime, thereby negating the place of residence, his crimes are international.
