A Serbian city is hosting two days of celebrations to mark the 100th anniversary of its synagogue. The Sept. 12-14 celebrations in Subotica include Shabbat services in the synagogue, a concert and a gala ceremony at the town hall. The art nouveau building was abandoned for many years but is now under restoration.
